Your Tecnicolors haircut starts with an image consultation to determine your perfect style and a diagnosis of your scalp’s anatomy and hair texture to find the shampoo and conditioner that will best deliver truly healthy hair. Then you relax in our European backwash station and receive a stress-relieving scalp massage as we cleanse and nourish your hair with our shampoos, conditioners, masks and treatments.

Our team of artists stay constantly abreast of the latest trends in hair and makeup by studying with the world’s best educators. Industry giants Vivienne Makinder, Martin Parsons, and Yves Durif have visited Gainesville to train the Tecnicolors Team. Salon owner Duane Tully has trained at the prestigious Llongueras Salons in Barcelona, Spain and bring influences from New York, London, Paris, and Madrid as well.

Like all Tecnicolors services, our Conditioning Hair Treatments are selected for your specific hair texture and condition and are designed to meet your hair’s individual needs.  They are delivered following a world class shampoo and are processed under gentle heat for deep penetration. The result is truly healthy hair you can feel and see immediately.

Retexturizing Services

Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatment – from $300

Keratin Treatments actually strengthen the hair with keratin protein while smoothing it out.  They remove up to 90% of frizz and curl, and then the effects fade away slowly, leaving no line of demarcation.  The hair is noticeably softer and straighter with added life and shine and a lengthened look. We use Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatment by Coppola.  It contains no thio or sodium and can be applied over other relaxers and Japanese straighteners,  strengthening damages hair. Compared to other “Brazilian” Keratin Treatments, Coppola Keratin Complex contains a significantly higher concentration of the actual keratin ingredient and it is of a much higher grade.  Your Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatment includes a bottle each of Coppola Keratin Care sulfate-free and sodium-free shampoo and conditioner.

Japanese Straightening – from $500

We use Yuko thermal reconditioning products to create perfectly straight hair.

Permanent Wave – from $95

We use only Aveda Permanent Waves to create beautiful waves and curls. Aveda’s aromatherapy neutralizer eliminates all unpleasant perm odors.
